Not long ago, the talented Michael came to visit us in Malta.
We took the opportunity to dive Anchor Bay—better known as the bay near
Despite the rather poor visibility (a stiff western wind blowing into the harbour, if I recall correctly), we still managed to enjoy the
many nooks and crannies all along the circumference of the bay.
There aren't many photos to show for our long dive, but we hope you enjoy those that Michael was kind enough to produce! Notwithstanding the poor visibility, we strongly recommend Anchor bay—it has a calmer, shallower area within a breakwater and a deeper and more interesting dive outside. In the deeper area are all sorts of little underwater crevasses and ravines descending to around a comfortable 10–15 metres. Just be careful of boat traffic from the jetty!
